Visual
perception problems can cause major difficulties in many people’s
lives - visual dyslexia, migraine, and balance problems. The outcome
for sufferers can be that they do not fulfil their educational
or employment potential.
In
recent years, it has become apparent that control of visual stimulus
can result in dramatic improvements.
The
Orthoscopics System provides a simple and effective method of
analysing perceptual problems. From this, appropriate measures
can be taken that, in many cases, can alleviate the problem. Whilst
it is not a panacea, it can have dramatic results.
A
test takes about an hour and assesses the way the visual system
reacts to different types of stimulus. It is not an eye test but
is additional and complementary to standard optometric care. Control
of the visual stimulus is often central to controlling the problem.

measures include the exclusive VDEX lenses, the Optimeyes task
lamp and visual tracking magnifiers. The subject will be given
a detailed report to help their school or employer to make appropriate
